P90X

Tony Horton was not always physically fit. His diet used to be junk food and his workout was more “rest” than anything else. All of that changed when he finally started keeping a journal to learn what worked for him in the gym. When he got results, it motivated him to go further and see how far his training could take him. He took better and better notes until he was qualified to train. After years of consultating with fellow experts and applying himself, he had developed a dynamic routine that kept his muscles on the move so that there were never any plateaus. The muscles that need rest are given a break while he moves on to other muscle groups and then back again right on time for a great workout, every time. It’s more efficient, and it’s how Tony whipped celebrity and executive bodies into shape.

Tony Horton started the P90X system for one reason: to bring his method of workout to anyone that wants a better body.

He got his break when Carl Daikler of Beachbody suggested they put Tony’s workout in a box. Now Tony could share his workout all over the world and perform a series of great workouts on DVD so that he could still bring his humor and vitality to everyone. Now the P90X system is going strong, and Tony is showing no signs of slowing down.

Tony still eats the delicious food he craves, but his diet has evolved to read the labels and make sure that he knows what he’s eating. He stays away from additives and sugar, but he’s found new foods to replace his old junk food. His favorite dish is a whole wheat crust pizza with veggies, and he can burn the calories with no problem. He also works out at the beach on the weekends, and he’s using his muscles to have fun. He’s come a long way over the years, and he’s in the best shape of his life. The P90X system works, and Tony is living proof.

    I’m starting my 4th week. I have not missed a session. My muscles in my upper back and shoulders are sore, but I keep going. I don’t think I will be getting the results of some of your people, but I know it’s working because the workouts are getting easier. Unfortunately, I’ve only lost about 3 or 4 pounds (my goal is 25). But I’m older than most of your clients so I don’t expect to lose as fast. I appreciate your program and your personality. At first I thought you were a little “west-side hip” for me, but your sincerity quickly won me over. I’ll keep with it and I will be one of your success stories, even if it have to go through the program twice (P180X :)
