10 Minute Trainer

The Ten Minute Trainer program was the brain child of Carl Daikler, Beachbody’s CEO. Tony and Carl were eating sushi celebrating the early success of P90X when they got to talking about a former Beachbody program called Fast Ten that was hosted by Michael George. The program never caught on and Carl suggested Tony take a look at the concept to see if he could “Horton-ize” it and add the Tony vibe and sense of fun to the workouts. Carl’s thought was that Ten Minute Trainer was a great way to help get busy people into fitness and that it would lead to a bigger commitment once a person became acclimated to the simple ten minute works.

Needless to say he was right. The Ten Minute Trainer has helped a lot of people segue into a healthier workout-based lifestyle. Leave it to Carl to create yet another hit.

A standard workout usually starts with at least 30 minutes of stretching and cardio before even getting into the muscles. So Tony took a lot of notes, and devised a plan.

Not everyone is able to set aside an hour to train every day, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get a great workout. The 10-minute trainer puts your body through a combination of moves, so that you’re cramming a complete workout into an efficient set. It’s like a symphony of exercise, so that each part is happening simultaneously. After 10 minutes, you might find yourself wanting to do it all over again!

There are four different 10-minute sessions: Cardio, Yoga Flex, Lower Body, Total Body. Tony separated each of these sessions so that your body gets a different workout each time. Tony figured that if you don’t have the time for a full-on ab ripping monster session, you can at least get fit, lose weight, and build strength, all in just 10 minutes a day.

I have been using the 10 minute trainer program for over a year now. I have to say I get stopped all the time for the condition of my body. I have 3 boys.. and work a desk job as well as perfom in a band on the weekends. Since my day job is so sedentary, it is vital to my health to stay active when I can. The 10 minute trainer has changed my life. My physique is important to me for personal reasons and for my singing career. God Bless the crew who made this incredible program. I am a walking example of what 10 little minutes can do for you.
